IDSwest faves

I was lucky enough to attend IDSwest this past weekend as part of the KDC (Kitchen Design Council) with Blanco Canada. We not only had a great meeting but also presented on stage on the Saturday to discuss some confessions of the KDC. Andrew Pike, Cheryl Torrenueva and I (pictured below with Tommy Smythe, another presenter at IDSwest) sat as a panel and went through some of our best renovations and kitchen designs.

While at the show we had a chance to walk around and look at some of the amazing booths and here are my faves from this years show:

1. Kelly Deck Design
Sophisticated, on trend, and timeless design for a kitchen space. The custom gold hood fan, knocked it out of the park!

2. Christian Woo
Always a favourite, these cluster coffee tables are delicious and in such juicy colours.

3. Inform
Love the bold colour palette in each vignette. Classic pieces with a modern edge.

4.  mth Woodworks
Organic and sculptural. These pieces hit the mark when it comes to the new on trend look of rustic chic. Love the white resin hits.

5. Pierre Lissoni 

A stunning space design that evoked a sense of calm as soon as you walked in. The bright hits of colour continued the on trend look mixed with more subtle white and cream notes. 

6. Mike Lam

A newcomer to the show, this designer based in Edmonton, AB made his mark at the show with these gorgeous curvilinear pieces!
