Fabric Crush: Persian Garden

Ancient Persia is the inspiration for this new line, and includes such comforting fabrics as linen, cotton, and woven silks. The Persian Garden collection displays a beautiful spread of colours including mustard yellow, lavender, periwinkle, and fuchsia, set nicely against the subtle tone of creamy beiges. The great thing about Osborne & Little is the option of having these patterns flow from fabrics into their wallpaper lines harmoniously. Making it so easy to pull a space together.

Check out the full colour options for the above patterns below.

Herringbone Love

Croma Express Design/ Style at Home Magazine

Interestingly enough, "herringbone" is named after the herring fish because of the resemblance to its skeleton. A classic pattern for twill or tweed suits, this fishy pattern is making more and more appearances in the interior design world; from wall tile and backsplashes, to flooring and wallpaper. With its characteristic and dynamic shape, herringbone looks fantastic in any style; be it midcentury modern or city chic. Want that clean sophisticated look? Use a gorgeous marble herringbone tile for your shower or bathtub walls.

Seaside with a twist: Pottery Barn summer preview

Chatham Sectional
·         Crafted of solid mahogany, the Chatham Sectional is distinguished by softly curved lines and an elegant, swept-back profile.

Cynthia Palampore Duvet Cover & Sham
·         Palampores were highly prized by European merchants of the late 17th century. In the tradition of those rich hand-blocked designs, this bedding displays a lavish, swirling print of foliage and blooms.

Ikat Salad Plate
·         Four traditional ikat designs are re-created on these stoneware plates, each trimmed with a golden edge that unifies the set.

Outdoor Pillows (including Malena, Riva Ikat, Hermosa Stripe Outdoor Pillow and more)
·         Weather friendly, yet as soft and cushy as its indoor counterparts

Plymouth Lanterns
·         Suspended throughout the yard or layered on the patio, these provide a warm scattering of light for outdoor parties or quiet summer nights with the family.

Rope Knot Table Lamp
·         Thick nautical rope is tightly twisted and knotted to create this textural lamp.

Fresh, bold, vibrant and chic is what comes to mind when I got to preview the summer collection from Pottery Barn. I like to call it Seaside with a twist, the look gives a hint of seaside without it looking over the top. The introduction of gorgeous patterns really helps to amp up the look as does the bold colour colours. I also love the rustic additions of rope, wood, and metal elements.

Fabulous Wallpapers

If there is one thing I love its a great wallpaper! I use it in all of my interiors as I feel it adds so much to a space adding depth, pattern and texture. There is a new line of wallpapers that have been introduced at Bouclair Home. Available in 16 different patterns, this pre-pasted paper is washable and budget friendly coming in at $29.99 for a double roll. Now, if you are a good do it yourself-er, then I recommend taking on this project on your own but if not, best to leave it to the experts to install.
